Ilulissat means iceberg in Greenlandic and the town is beautifully situated at the mouth of the almost 60 km long Ice Fjord. 4,600 people live today in Ilulissat but, imagine that 3,500 sled dogs are living there too and how important dogsled is for transport, even in a large modern town. The trip includes hotel and breakfast, guided city tour on the first day, boat tour to a settlement on the second and, from there, a range of optional excursions (not included in the price) appropriate to different preferences
