The ice sheet ... This is the passion and focal point for most tours arranged by Arctic Caving Adventure.
There are tours of varying difficulty and duration. One of the longer tours is a three-day expedition including two nights spent on the ice cap.
You will be exploring ice formations, looking for shafts and meltwater wells. You will be camping on the ice, and you will discover what it is like to stand and sleep on the world’s second oldest glacier.
The tour is for people who are in good health and in good physical shape.
Arctic Caving Adventure provides all necessary specialist glacier equipment. The guide will also take along first aid equipment, GPS, maps, a compass and a satellite phone in case of emergencies.Read more or book Save article to favorites
