Narsaq means the plain in Greenlandic. Location: 60⁰54'N / 43⁰03'W. Climate: Arctic to sub arctic; average summer temperature: 10,1⁰C. To the Narsaq District belong the villages: Narsarsuaq (international airport), Igaliku, Qassairsuk and its surrounding sheep-farmer's hamlets.
