As the globe warms, the world of ice and snow becomes rarer and harder for travelers to find. You literally have to go to the ends of the earth to find them - either pole to be exact. South of the National Park an area of natural beauty is found, with the characteristic name Liverpool Land, where a number of unique sled trips are offered during the wintertime by the local tourist office in Ittoqqortoormiit (Scorebysund).

Souvenir shopping is not possible in the National Park as there are no civilian towns or settlements in the National Park. In Ittoqqortoormiit - Scoresbysund - there is a souvenir shop operated by Nanu Travel. Most expedition cruise ships that go to the national park also go to Ittoqqortoormiit.
