How to get there
Air Greenland flies to Sisimiut via the international airport in Kangerlussuaq. From here there are regular flights to the other towns on Greenland's west coast. Arctic Umiaq Line's passenger ship, which has a scheduled service between Qaqortoq in South Greenland and Ilulissat in the north, also calls at Sisimiut.
How to get around
You can see most of Sisimiut on foot. You can also get around the town by bus or taxi. Sisimiut's wilderness is truly phenomenal and therefore a dog sled, snowmobile or skis are best suited for a winter exploration.
Where to sleep
You can stay at hotels with several stars, the Seamen's Home or the hostel. You can stay privately, in cabins or camp anywhere in the countryside.
