Description
Fishing Greenlandic halibut with long line is one of the main occupations in Ilulissat, and this tradition goes more than 100 years back in time. From the harbour we sail with tour boat to the fishing spot of today, where we set out the long line. We continue the tour to the mouth of the Kangia Ice fiord, where the many grounded icebergs form an impressive landscape. After an hour of cruising we pull up the long line, hopefully with a good catch of halibut, catfish and cod.
