Greenland Today will have an initial circulation of 20,000 copies, and will be sent to all doctor’s surgeries, dental clinics, hairdressers and libraries in Denmark, as well as to a number of official outlets such as embassies and tourist offices in Germany, the United Kingdom and the USA.
- We expect that the first issue will be seen by up to one million people, says publisher Aviaq Mørch, who grew up in Greenland, but now lives in Copenhagen. Aviaq’s previous jobs included working for the Greenlandic daily newspaper AG, and for more than 10 years she was responsible for Air Greenland’s in-flight magazine SULUK, and Arctic Umiaq Line’s KISAQ, as well as many other titles.

- It’s a long-held dream that’s now being realised, and I’m looking forward to trying my hand at a major project outside Greenland which nevertheless still concerns my beautiful native country.
