Santa Claus

Santa Claus - by Karsten Bidstrup and Mads Themberg
Santa Claus of Greenland
Santa Claus is a well-known figure in many countries, but he has many different names, and dresses in many different colours. Regardless of which version of Santa Claus you believe in, however, there is only one thing you need to know – that Santa Claus lives in Greenland.

Every year hundreds of children write to Santa Claus. Although many letters are simply addressed “To Santa Claus – the North Pole”, they always end up at the right destination. The North Pole is connected to Greenland via ice, and the reindeer post can therefore always reach its correct destination regardless of where in Greenland Santa Claus actually is.

Santa Claus is a happy man who is known for his generosity. His deep laugh, ‘Ho, Ho, Ho’, is familiar to all children, and even though he has now acquired a little middle-age spread, he can still make it down the chimney with a little magic when he travels out to all the children that believe in him to deliver their presents on time.

At santa.gl you can read much more about Santa Claus.
