Hotel Sisimiut

Hotel Sisimiut is centrally located close to all the town’s facilities and attractions. The hotel is run by the Lings, a married couple who, along with the helpful friendliness of their staff, ensure that both meetings and holiday stays are always held in a pleasant and efficient atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the sight of the attractive town and the surrounding mountains. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and meeting facilities.

Restaurant, bar and café area
The restaurant is a culinary delight. Both the food menu and wine menu are tempting and varied – and feature a number of Greenlandic specialities. The food is prepared with respect for tradition and the highest quality is guaranteed.

Each party is an individual challenge. Festivities and events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, receptions, etc., can all be tailored to suit the occasion.

The restaurant can seat up to 125 guests, but has a flexible layout so that an intimate and cosy atmosphere can quickly be created for just a handful of people.

In the hotel’s bar and wine bar, “Bar Aaveq”, the atmosphere and interior design is quite special – and the bar provides an ideal setting for a quiet drink after dinner.

Conference facilities
Hotel Sisimiut has 3 large conference rooms equipped with AV projector, Internet access, conference telephone and standard AV equipment. Special AV equipment is available on request.

Hotel Sisimiut can cater for traditional day or all-day meetings, as well as trips and activities with professional content organised in collaboration with the town’s tourist office.

Capacity
The hotel has 38 rooms. The conference facilities can accommodate up to 50 people in the same room.

Hotel Sisimiut has a large congress and assembly hall that has room for 60 people and 3 seminar rooms that can accommodate 6, 8 and 12 participants respectively.
