Hotel Hans Egede

In the centre of Nuuk, close to all the facilities and attractions, you'll find the four-star Hotel Hans Egede. The hotel is especially well-known for its friendly and professional service. It is also known for the fantastic and beautiful views of icebergs and the seaward approach - especially from the fifth floor, which includes the restaurant, bar and conference facilities.

Two places to eat
On the fifth floor of the hotel, with panoramic views of the fjord and the city, are both the well-known restaurant "A Hereford Beefstouw" and the gourmet restaurant "Sarfalik".

Both of them offer varied menus and excellent wine lists.

Sky Line Bar
Also on the fifth floor there is the Sky Line Bar. Here you can enjoy a drink before dinner or coffee and cognac afterwards - often to the accompaniment of live music. The panoramic views from the Sky Line Bar are popular, and the bar is open not just to hotel guests, but also to the general public.

Conference facilites ****
The Hotel Hans Egede has nine available rooms for meetings and conferences. The large bright rooms are flexible, and equipped with air condition, big screen projectors, Internet access, and conference telephones. The rooms also have standard AV equipment. Other AV equipment can be provided on prior request.

Capacity
Through Destination Nuuk, the Hotel Hans Egede offers to co-ordinate the entire stay, including city tours, sailing trips/charter, entertainment etc. for conferences with up to 139 participants in single rooms or 245 participants in double rooms. The conference facilities allow for up to 150 participants in the same room.

The Hotel Hans Egede collaborates with the Katuaq culural centre, which has conference facilities with an auditorium which can accommodate up to 500 people. With the other places of accommodation and restaurants, Nuuk is thus able to host very large conferences.
