Kangerlussuaq Hotel

The three-star Kangerlussuaq Hotel and Conference Centre is perfectly located at the airport. In 2004 a new wing was added to the main hotel, and this contains all the meeting and conference facilities. The Conference Centre can host meetings or conferences for up to 80 people. A conference co-ordinator takes care of the practicalities and makes sure that the event is successful.

The hotel also has a bar, a café and a gourmet restaurant. The à la carte restaurant can seat 80 and offers an international menu alongside many Greenlandic specialities. Musk ox and reindeer are especially popular. Many of the ingredients are supplied locally.

The Conference Centre also offers accommodation at an annex hotel in Umimmak for groups who want a cheaper stay. Hotel Umimmak is just two km from the Conference Centre. There is a free bus service from the airport and to Hotel Umimmak for conferences.
