The journey to Kangerlussuaq from Copenhagen Airport takes 4 hours and 40 minutes. Air Greenland flies this route with an Airbus 330, seating 249 passengers, or a Boeing 757, seating 200. From Kangerlussuaq there are connections to the whole of Greenland. Nuuk and Ilulissat are only a little less than an hour's flight from Kangerlussuaq. These are served by a Dash 7 plane, with room for 46 people.

In the summer season 2007, there are connections across the Atlantic six days a week. Outside this season there are five a week.
In summer 2007 on Thursday there will be 42 same-day connections between Northern Europe and Greenland. This means that visitors from outside Denmark will not have to spend a night in a hotel on the way out to Greenland or back.
Please notice that week 14 is excluded in this context.
Two to three times a week there is a flight from Copenhagen to Narsarsuaq in Southern Greenland. On this route, Air Greenland operates a Boeing 757 which seats 200 passengers. From Narsarsuaq there are connections to Kangerlussuaq and Nuuk.
Baltimore, Maryland, USA
For the first time in many years there is a direct route from Baltimore, Maryland, USA to and from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland Coonecting flights to and from Greenland’s coastal towns to Baltimore via Kangerlussuaq are available from the 11 th of May and the 28 th of september 2007.
The service will be operated by Air Greenland twice a week, exept between the 11 th of May to the 8 th of june 2007. In this period there will only be one take-off a week.
