Pax Tax for Cruise Lines
The Greenlandic Ministry of Taxation hereby announces, that the Greenlandic Government is currently planning to propose that the passenger dues according to Greenlandic Act no. 20 of October 1992 on harbour dues and passenger dues should be raised from the current amount of DKK 450 per passenger to DKK 525 with effect from January 1, 2009.
The Greenlandic Ministry of Taxation expects that the Parliament will discuss the proposal at their meeting in September/October 2008, and the new dues will become effective by the 1st of January 2009.
