Greenland Venture invests in companies operating in Greenland, or in companies considered to be of a general interest to Greenland, by the following criteria:

• Future business potential should be financially sustainable
• It should be possible to realize the capital share within an agreed time frame with a revenue substantially above the market rate for medium-term investments

Greenland Venture invests in all business sectors with a focus on projects that contribute to increase the export, and/or limiting import.

Greenland Venture’s investments are long-term investments. Greenland Venture solely invests in limited companies and offers financing in terms of:

• Capital investment
• Subordinate loan capital
• Guarantee

Capital investment is a condition for the provision of subordinate loan capital and guarantees.

Besides offering venture capital, Greenland Venture has the role of being the national liaison for the Greenlandic industry, informing and giving advise on the possibilities for participating in international project cooperation, mainly within the framework of EU-programmes.
