08.03.14 - Fuel surcharge rise: 2008
As of the first of April, Air Greenland will be increasing their fuel surcharge (YR tax) on Atlantic routes between Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaq and Copenhagen and Narsarsuaq.
This price rise is a direct consequence of significant rises in the price of crude oil during the previous two years.
From the 1st of April the fuel surcharge levied on Atlantic flights will be DKK 153 per Atlantic section, in other words the fuel surcharge will be raised by DKK 20 per section. Travellers under the age of two are not affected by these changes.
